We at State To State Auto Transport prefer not to Carriers personal belongings with your motorcycle. Personal belongings that are inside the motorcycle at the time of Transport are not insured. State To State Auto Transport is not responsible for objects that are not part of the motorcycle. If you have saddle bags there is usually an additional charge. Please let us know prior to ordering.
Generally, an Open Motorcycle Carrier is similar to those you see Hauling motorcycles to and from dealerships. These motorcycle carriers range in size and capacity. Vehicles that are moved via an open motorcycle carriers are exposed to inclement weather and road conditions.
Enclosed Motorcycle Carriers also range in size and capacity. Since these motorcycle carriers are covered, the vehicles in transit are not subjected to inclement weather or road conditions. Enclosed motorcycle carriers are recommended for custom and exotic motorcycles.

Yes. Our insurance covers the value of any vehicle that we Transport.
We try to keep each customer well informed during the entire Transport process. It is our policy to call the customer 12 to 24 hours in advance of delivery to establish a more accurate estimated time of arrival and to work out specific directions. We ask that you make yourself as available as possible. In the event you are not able to take possession of your vehicle upon delivery, your vehicle will be placed at a terminal as close to your home as possible. If your motorcycle is placed at a terminal, you, the customer, will be responsible for all terminal and holding costs. Even though a motorcycle is placed at a terminal, it is still possible to provide door delivery at an additional cost. The motorcycle will not be released until all funds are settled with both State To State Auto Transport and the terminal.
The vehicle will be picked up as close to your home as possible. In some cases we ask that you meet our truck at a mutually appealling location such as a supermarket or some other large parking lot. This is due to the typically large size of the trucks and the inability to maneuver through many streets, and under low bridges, wires, and branches.
With Terminal Service your vehicle will either be picked up or dropped off at a terminal. While we try to find a terminal as close to your home as possible, usually within 20 miles, this distance is not guaranteed.
We hope that the higher level of service you will receive from State To State Auto Transport is well worth the cost. With us, you get more for your moving dollar. True, there are other carriers, but can you put a price on peace of mind?
No. You don't need to empty your gas tank but we do ask that you have it at or below a half tank. Full gas tanks my leak out during Transport.
Special express services are available at an additional cost. Please call us for details.
We recommend that you do it as fast as possible but you have up to a week to let us know.
It is very important to understand the coverage policy your Transport will include. In most cases we offer insurance beyond what your own policy may cover and what their standard cargo insurance covers. It is advised that you read your own insurance policy and review the Shipping policy carefully. Always make sure you cycle is covered fully.
